FAQ

What is Epiface?
Epiface is a new revolutionary invention based on ancient methods used for hundreds of years. It removes unwanted facial hair, creating a silky smooth look and feel to your skin.

Where can it be used?
Epiface is suitable for men and women to be used on the areas around the mouth, upper and lower lip, chin and neck areas as well as inner noses. The Epiface spiral should not be used to remove hair from the eyebrow area, legs, hands, ears, bikini area and all other body parts that are not mentioned.

How does Epiface work?

  • 1. Hold the Epiface handles with both hands, and bend it into a inverted U, as shown in the picture.
  • 2. Place the Epifacespiral in the desired area. Maintain the inverted U throughout the entire treatment. Apply quick and continuous inwards and outwards movements against the directions of hair growth to remove the hair from its roots.

Can I share my Epiface with other people?
The Epiface spiral is only designed for individual usage. For hygienic reasons, it should only be used by one person.

Is hair removal by Epiface permanent?
No. Hair threading usually lasts 2-3 weeks. To date, there is no hair removal device or product permitted by FDA to be marketed as a permanent hair remover. Laser treatments can only be marketed as "permanent hair reduction."

How often do I need to use Epiface ?

Generally you can use Epiface anytime. Hair re-growth depends on your hair type, and it may take anywhere from three days to four weeks before you need to use Epiface again.

Is hair removal by Epiface painful?
If you are unaccustomed to root hair removal some sensitivity may be experienced for the first two to three times, sim ilar to threading. For others Epiface results in a tingling or prickling sensation. Many even say that they don't even feel anything at all. But after regular use, the skin will get desensitized. However, it is less painful compared to waxing.

Do I have to replace Epiface every six month?

No, just make sure that you maintain it properly according to our instructions.

Does Epiface cause regrowth hair to be coarser?
No, Regular use of Epiface may result in finer and more sparse facial hair as hair is removed from the roots.

Can Epiface be used for all types of hair?

Yes, Epiface can remove fine "peach fuzz" as well as thick hair.

Will using Epiface cause an allergic reaction, or skin irritation?

No. Epiface is safe and natural, and if you do not have an allergic reaction or skin irritation to tweezing (where hair is also removed from the roots), then you should not have any with Epiface. If you have really sensitive skin, you may experience a slight redness, which should fade quickly.

I have tried conventional threading and found that my skin would break out afterwards. Will using Epiface cause the same reaction?
It should not. However, you should wash your face with cold water first and moisturize it after each Epiface use.

Will using Epiface remove a layer of my skin?
No. Epiface only snags the facial hair and pulls them by the root, unlike waxing, where a thin layer of skin is also removed leaving your skin red and raw.

Can Epiface be used on other parts of the body?
No, Epiface was designed for use on the upper lip, chin, cheeks and neck areas. It should not be used to remove hair from the eyebrows, as it will pull your eyelashes out! It should also not be used to remove hair from the ears, armpits, legs, back, bikini area or any other area not specified.

I am pregnant. Is it safe for me to use Epiface?
Yes, Epiface does not use any harmful chemicals, waxes, creams or bleaches.

Can men use Epiface?
Yes.

My daughter is 13 years old. Can she use Epiface?
Yes, even girls as young as 10 have used Epiface. Children have sensitive skin, and Epiface is the perfect hair removal product to meet their special needs.

How do I keep Epiface clean?
To clean Epiface bend Epiface like an inverted “U” and blow out the hair. Clean the Epiface Spiral thoroughly once a month with pure rubbing alcohol.
